This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how you may use the job.technology platform and services. It supplements our Terms of Service and must be read together with those Terms. Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
1. Overview

- • Misuses AI tools in ways that could cause harm or legal liability
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are prohibited on the platform:
- • False, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive job listings or applicant profiles
- • Job listings that discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected under applicable US federal or state law
- • Content that harasses, threatens, or intimidates any person
- • Unlawful content, including content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- • Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or pyramid schemes
- • Content containing viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code

3. Employer Rules
If you use the platform as an employer or hiring professional:
- • You must post only genuine open positions that you have the authority and intent to fill.
- • You must not use the platform to collect resumes for purposes other than evaluating candidates for the posted position.
- • You must review all AI-generated job descriptions for discriminatory language and legal compliance before publishing. AI-generated content does not relieve you of your obligations under applicable anti-discrimination law.
- • You must not use AI-generated hiring tools to make fully automated, final hiring decisions without meaningful human review where required by applicable law (including NYC Local Law 144 for employers hiring in New York City).
- • You must not contact job seekers for purposes unrelated to the posted position without their consent.
- • You must not misrepresent your company, open positions, compensation, working conditions, or location.
- • You must comply with applicable wage and hour laws, worker classification requirements, and employment eligibility verification requirements.
4. Job Seeker Rules
If you use the platform as a job seeker:
- • You must not submit resumes, profiles, or application materials that contain materially false information about your qualifications, experience, education, or identity.
- • AI enhancement of your resume or career documents does not relieve you of responsibility for the accuracy of the underlying factual claims.
- • You must not apply for positions you are not genuinely interested in or qualified for as a means of harvesting employer contact information.
- • You must not use the platform to solicit other users for commercial products or services.
- • You must not misrepresent your employment eligibility or authorization to work in the United States.
5. AI Tool Rules
When using the platform's AI-powered tools:
- • You must not attempt to extract, reproduce, or reverse-engineer the underlying AI models, prompts, or training data through platform inputs or outputs.
- • You must not use AI tools to generate content designed to deceive employers, job seekers, or the platform (e.g., fake credentials, fabricated work history).
- • You must not input another person's personal information into AI tools without their authorization.
- • You must not use AI tools to generate discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful content.
- • You must review AI-generated outputs before using or publishing them. You are responsible for the content you publish, regardless of its origin.
6. Technical Rules
You must not:

- • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its supporting infrastructure without written authorization
- • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, ransomware, or any harmful or disruptive code
- • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or any connected network
- • Attempt to overload our infrastructure through denial-of-service attacks or similar means
- • Harvest or collect other users' data without authorization
7. Geographic Rules
The Service is available exclusively to users physically located in the United States. You must not:
- • Access the Service from outside the United States
- • Use VPNs, proxies, Tor, or other tools to circumvent geographic access restrictions
- • Access the Service on behalf of individuals or entities in OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions (including North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine)
Circumvention of geographic restrictions is a material breach of the Terms of Service and will result in immediate account termination.
